Formation of the food security strategy of the state

Abstract

The article proposes a mechanism for developing and implementing a food security strategy of the state, which contains four blocks. The strategic analysis block provides for the formation of an information and analytical framework for the development of a food security strategy. The strategy development block envisages the creation of a draft food security strategy based on the results of strategic analysis in the form of analytical reports, a system of food security indicators. The implementation of the food security strategy ensures that the goals and objectives set out in the strategy are fulfilled by the responsible competent authorities and organizations that control and are responsible for certain components of food security at national and regional levels. The block for monitoring the strategy and adjusting the strategic measures provides for the preparation of analytical reports on the implementation of the strategic goals and measures in accordance with the approved strategic goals and objectives and indicators. The structure of the state food security strategy as a state document has been developed. The scheme of interaction of state, regional and local bodies of executive power, the Ministry of development of economy, trade and agriculture of Ukraine on ensuring the development and implementation of the state food security strategy is proposed.
