Scientific support of customs affairs in the context of strategic priorities

Abstract

The research described in this paper focuses on specific issues of scientific support of Customs affairs in the context of strategic priorities. The paper highlights the importance of creation and further development of the State Research Institute of Customs Affairs aimed at designing a scientific approach to the implementation of measures for optimization and improvement of Customs efficiency. The author suggests viewing the research works ordered by the State Customs Service of Ukraine since 2009, which concern the issues of creating an effective risk management system in the field of Customs and its use in ensuring Customs security. The latest scientific works in the field of control over the preservation of the objects of cultural value, Customs audit system in Ukraine, the Customs value of goods as well as Customs Encyclopedia, a monograph and the Annotated Index are also described in the paper.
